MATADOR, A.S., PÚCHOV – GENERAL OVERHAUL OF INTAKE DUCTS

Many years of operation necessitated a general overhaul of intake ducts on K6 and K7 boilers in Matador Púchov in December 2010 / January 2011. Dismantling of original ducts and subsequent installation of new ones was done in the cramped conditions with at least one boiler in operation. Project planning determined dimensions of the pipeline as well as additional support structure. Subsequently, after a series of adjustments in order to ensure sufficient credibility of measured results, measuring equipments were installed in each intake duct.
