DUSLO, A.S., ŠAĽA – OVERALL RECNSTRUCTION OF UREA GRANULATION TOWER

An overall reconstruction of urea granulation tower was completed in mid-September 2012. The reconstruction concerned external as well as internal casing with a significant exposure to chemicals. Repair works also included replacement of acid-resistant technological tile floors with chemical resistant insulation. Roof insulation was carried out after changing the slope of roof decking. The fact that all the structures were located in the area exposed to chemicals made the repair even more difficult.
