CRH (SLOVENSKO), A.S., ROHOŽNÍK – COMPLETE RECONSTRUCTION OF A N. 1 CEMENT SILO IN ROHOŽNÍK PLANT

On 21^st of October 2016, a complete reconstruction of N. 1 cement silo in CRH (Slovakia), a.s., Rohožník plant was completed successfully.

Following works were included in the reconstruction process:

• Removing the damaged and degraded concrete parts on the outer surface of the silo;
• High pressure water jet cleaning of the outer silo surfaces;
• Reconstruction of the damaged and exposed reinforcement;
• Closing the cracks;
• Concrete remediation the outer surfaces of the silo;
• Daywork joints grouting on the silo;
• Smoothing  the outer surface on the silo;
• Full-area application of the corrosion inhibitor;

Application of the outer coating on the silo.
