STEFE BANSKÁ BYSTRICA, A.S. – RECONSTRUCTION OF A STEEL CHIMNEY +45.0/1.8 M WITH A STEEL SUPPORTING STRUCTURE.
The reconstruction of a steel chimney +45.0/1.8 m with a steel supporting structure in STEFE Banská Bystrica, a.s., was completed on 31st August 2016.List of activities carried out:
- Disassembly of an existing steel chimney top
- A complete dismantling of an existing stainless steel liner and building of two new chimneys in an existing steel framework
- Reinforcement/adjustment of an existing structure, directly at the point of contact between the chimneys and a steel framework;
- Comprehensive rehabilitation of the anticorrosive protection of steel framework including joints and concrete fundaments
- Repairs of leakages in sheathing and flue-gas duct connection
