KOVOHUTY, A.S., KROMPACHY – REPAIR OF A REINFORCED CONCRETE MONOLITHIC CHIMNEY

After insulating the upper part of the chimney liner +201/2.75 m from the interspace in 2011, we went back to KOVOHUTY, a.s. upon the customer´s request already in spring in order to carry out repair works on an outer reinforced concrete shaft in the summer season. It concerned a rehabilitation of day obstacle marking which ceased to serve its original purpose after a long-term operation in severe weather and chemical conditions. We have also replaced corroded and dangerous railings on the two upper platforms with the new prefabricated ones finished by zinc dipping.
